Conditions for forming future language teachers’ lexical competence in pandemic times

Successful communication in English as a foreign language depends primarily on the amount of vocabulary learned, which ensures speech appropriateness particular communicative situation and adequate perception information. The article reveals conditions for forming future teachers’ lexical competence Ukrainian higher pedagogical education institutions example denoting coronalogisms. summative stage revealed students’ positive motivation learning new vocabulary, while formative one was aimed at expanding range topic. work carried out three stages: introducing vocabulary; practicing consolidating material; using target written oral speech. Determining their word knowledge quality ability to use control gives grounds state effectiveness during pandemic: ICT time-conditioned blended combination traditional distance learning.
